  • Responsibilities

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    This position will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks in support of the Contract Administration Department. 

     

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Assist in tracking and maintaining a contract management system and work with various members of the department to ensure that services are processed in accordance to contract terms.
    • Review all open contracts and document specific details.
    • Load customer details into the contract management system including expiration dates, costs and other relevant information.
    • Update database as new agreements are signed.
    • Generate reports as requested.
    • Reviews parts inventories and order status as needed.
    • Responsible for entering and reporting financial data for accounting pertaining to contracts.
    • Maintain complete and accurate files to facilitate internal administration and audits by outside entities
    • Enter customer orders as requested and in accordance with standard practices and procedures.
    • Track customer orders throughout the production phase, ensure deviations from established delivery schedule are reported to appropriate Contract Administrator or Program Manager.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required, AA preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in Customer Service or Administrative Support role preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Previous experience reviewing contract information for relevant expiration dates, maintenance dates, costs, and other important contract details required.
    • Must be proficient MS Excel.
    • Familiarity with US Government contract administration including all FAR and DFAR regulations preferred.
    • Experience with contracts, legal terminology, and negotiation preferred.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available
    • Must be able to work on U.S. government programs and/or obtain security clearance in the future
