    SUMMARY:

    The Salesforce Product Manager is an IT professional responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by Agile development teams to ensure that the business receives optimal features and functionality within the Salesforce platform.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated passion for delivering services that are scalable, high quality, and reusable. The person in this role must be an experienced technologist with a strong business foundation and passion for improving productivity, driving customer satisfaction, and maintaining technology and security controls. Finally, the selected candidate must possess excellent client relationship management skills and the ability to convert business requirements into software deliverables based upon business value.

    PROFILE:

    • Take the lead of Agile development teams as the Product Manager for our Salesforce platform.
    • Provides vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.
    • Able to synthesize the business strategy into a product strategy and requirements into a strategic roadmap and sprint plan.
    • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
    • Define product vision, road-map, and growth opportunities.
    • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value and strategic alignment.
    • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
    • Lead the planning product release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new functionality.
    • Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
    • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and trends.
    • Ensures business needs are met by defining feature specifications with the business and communicate the requirements to the development teams.
    • You will work with product designers and customers to guide, test, and deliver the best experience for customers.
    • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory guidelines.

     

    Required Skills

    • Salesforce product management experience.
    • Credit Union or Financial Services industry experience a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels within an organization.
    • Be able to influence others, using personal rather than positional power.
    • A proven track record for full lifecycle product management developing products from concept to delivery.
    • Has the ability to create a range of written assets, including user stories, product messaging, and pitch decks.
    • Creative thinker with a vision.
    • Excellent technical acumen on SaaS, Salesforce.com and developer tools.
    • Writing Product requirement documents and creating user stories.
    • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, at least on an administrator level.
    • Success leading Agile development teams.
    • Experience with Salesforce CRM implementations.
    • Salesforce App Builder certification or equivalent experience.
    • Agile/Scrum Product Owner certification or equivalent experience.
    • Familiar with Agile process management tools such as JIRA, Trello, etc.

    Required Experience

    • Reports directly to the AVP of Service Management
    • Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce Product Management experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
