    POSITION SUMMARY

    Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting financial performance and strategic planning for the business organization.  Enforce all policies and procedures related to financial controls, gathering and reporting of financial information. Directs and advises the overall financial strategy of the organization.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Attendance at work during regularly scheduled shifts is an essential duty.  Scheduled additional hours may be required at times depending on specific deadlines, projects, etc. This includes but is not limited to being at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.
    • Analyze financial reports to assess performance as aligned with forecasted or budgeted goals.
    • Direct and advise management and staff with respect to the overall financial strategy of the organization.
    • Recommend investment decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry, or economic conditions.
    • Monitor developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance, and economic theory.
    • Guide and direct sales with trending data collection and analysis.  
    • Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments by analyzing information from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, or personal interviews.
    • Prepare plans of action for investment, using financial analyses.
    • Present oral or written reports on financial performance, general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.
    • Conduct financial analyses related to green construction or green retrofitting projects.
    • Forecast or analyze financial costs associated with potential acquisitions, building expansions, capital expenses, etc.
    • Provide contractual reviews and coordination with necessary legal resources.
    • Prepare and/or approve financial related forms and manuals for the organization.

    • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting Software,  MRP or ERP system.

    • Other Requirements: Ability to perform all listed essential functions across multiple business entities with corporate reporting required.  Job costing and/or manufacturing experience.

    Required Experience

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
    • Experience: Five to ten years related experience
