Carpe Diem Academy is a small private school providing services to children with special needs. We are seeking a Lead Special Education Teacher with significant experience and knowledge of IEP Goals, differentiating curriculum, tutoring, and creating materials. Strong leader who is willing to provide training and ongoing professional development to all educational staff and educational supporting staff. An individual is willing to collaborate with the Behavioral support and therapy team to create a comprehensive program and daily activities for students with varying exceptionalities. The teacher will work one to one with students and supervise and support staff in providing education to our students.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish (Preferred)
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background Check
• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• State ESE Professional Certification REQUIRED
• Experience with children of the special needs community
• Knowledge/Experience with ABA Therapy PLUS!
