    Company Overview Art of Drawers transforms homes by designing and installing custom pull-out drawers and storage solutions for existing cabinets.     Job Summary We’re looking for an experienced craftsman and women to join us as Part-Time Installation Partners. This role is best suited for someone who works well independently, communicates clearly and proactively, and takes pride in delivering top-quality results.

    Roughly 80% of installations are straightforward, but your experience and problem-solving skills are essential for the remaining 20% that shows up on nearly every job.

    Responsibilities

    Measure cabinet spaces in clients’ homes to ensure accurate orders and proper fit

    Transport materials from the dock to warehouse

    Check in orders upon arrival and verify accuracy and completeness

    Receive orders, file claims, complete repairs, and schedule appointments in a timely manner

    Prep orders at the warehouse to ensure smooth, efficient installations

    Install custom drawers and cabinet storage solutions in clients’ homes, troubleshooting installation challenges as they arise

    Operate independently and professionally, including calling clients to schedule appointments, staying on top of order arrivals, managing time and overall job quality effectively

    Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and the Art of Drawers team

    Use technology to manage jobs, communication, and required documentation

    Contribute ideas and feedback as part of a culture of continuous improvement

    Complete a mandatory 3-day training at the corporate office in Atlanta, GA prior to installing independently. Training is provided by Art of Drawers, travel costs are paid by the installer and then reimbursed by Art of Drawers.

    Qualifications

    10+ years’ experience in carpentry, craftsmanship, or handyman roles

    Owns tools and a vehicle large enough for materials

    Holds general liability insurance

    Comfortable using technology and has reliable access to internet, phone, computer / tablet, and printer

    Strong communication and customer service skills

    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven

    Self-motivated, dependable, and punctual

    Comfortable working independently and managing time

    Enjoys being part of a small, growing, hands-on team

    Compensation is performance-based per job, with average hourly earnings of approximately $45.
