We are looking to hire a Carpenter Helper/Laborer to perform projects and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: • Assist lead carpenters in daily tasks, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. • Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and safe for all team members. • Handle tools and materials with care, supporting the team in achieving high-quality craftsmanship. • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials, following precise instructions from senior carpenters. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve on-site challenges, fostering a supportive work environment. • Transport and organize materials and tools, ensuring everything is readily available for the team. • Follow safety protocols diligently, contributing to a secure and hazard-free worksite for everyone involved. Qualifications: • Experience in assisting skilled carpenters on construction sites, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment, prioritizing the safety of all team members. • Proven track record of handling tools and materials with care, contributing to quality craftsmanship. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and understand project goals. • Ability to follow safety protocols diligently, ensuring the well-being of yourself and colleagues. • Experience in supporting the installation of structures and fixtures under supervision. • Ability to facilitate material deliveries and perform job site clean-up efficiently and effectively. Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
