We are seeking a dependable Carpenter Helper to support our lead carpenters in delivering high-quality residential projects. This role involves assisting with daily job site tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and handling tools and materials with care. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with good communication skills and a commitment to craftsmanship and efficiency. A valid North Carolina driver’s license is required. Responsibilities: • Support lead carpenters with daily tasks to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently. • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas for the entire team. • Handle tools and materials carefully to uphold high-quality craftsmanship. • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials based on detailed instructions from senior carpenters. • Work collaboratively with team members to address on-site challenges and promote a positive work environment. • Transport and organize tools and materials to ensure they are readily accessible when needed. • Adhere to all safety protocols to help maintain a secure and hazard-free job site. Qualifications: • Valid North Carolina driver’s license required. • Experience assisting skilled carpenters on construction sites with a focus on efficiency and productivity. • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, prioritizing team safety at all times. • Demonstrated ability to handle tools and materials responsibly to support quality craftsmanship. • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and understand project objectives. • Experience supporting the installation of structures and fixtures under supervision. • Ability to coordinate material deliveries and perform job site cleanup efficiently. Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
