About the Role:

Artec Custom Wood LLC is looking for a motivated and hardworking Carpenter Assistant to join our team in Hialeah, FL! This is a great opportunity to learn the craft of custom woodworking alongside skilled professionals in a hands-on environment. Responsibilities:

Assist lead carpenters with measuring, cutting, and shaping wood materials

Support the fabrication and installation of custom wood pieces and cabinetry

Prepare and maintain job sites, tools, and equipment

Load, unload, and transport materials and supplies as needed

Sand, finish, and prep wood surfaces for final installation

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Take direction from senior carpenters and complete tasks efficiently

Requirements:

Prior experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction is a plus but not required

Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the day

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to job sites preferred

Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team
