_ A Day in the Life_

The Construction Carpenter/Cabinet Maker is responsible for carpenter and cabinetry trade work throughout the hospital. This position requires proven aptitude and experience in the planning, fabricating and construction of European style cabinets and related carpentry items such as: solid surface tops, plastic laminate tops, wall protection, handrails, hardware, doors, steel studs, ceilings and other specialty items that will be required for repair or installation throughout the hospital. The ideal individual will be a team-oriented problem solver with a variety of carpentry related skills with emphasis on cabinetry fabrication and installation.

Qualifications

_ What’s Required_

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years Cabinet shop experience including use of referenced equipment - Automatic Edge Bander, Sliding Table Saw, Multi Spindle Boring Machine, Hinge Boring Machine
• Capable of layout, blueprint reading, material ordering, building and installation of European style cabinets.
• Creating a cut optimization list
