About Us: At One Stop Property Maintenance, we’re more than a maintenance company — we’re a partner in building performance and energy efficiency. Our team supports commercial, retail, and residential clients across Southeast Michigan with services that improve both appearance and efficiency — from landscaping, repairs, and snow removal to weatherization, blower-door testing, and insulation.
Job Summary: We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our property maintenance team. This role supports both commercial and residential repair and renovation projects — from fixing doors and trim in retail locations to restoring walls, cabinetry, and decks in occupied homes. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently in active environments, and can adapt from quick-turn service calls to detailed finish work.
Key Responsibilities:
General Repairs: Perform day-to-day carpentry repairs on walls, doors, framing, trim, shelving, and fixtures in commercial and residential properties.
Finish Carpentry: Install or repair baseboards, molding, cabinets, and decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
Framing & Structural Work: Complete light framing, subfloor repair, and minor wall reconstruction as needed for remodels or damage restoration.
Fixture Installation: Mount shelves, railings, signage, and specialty hardware in retail, office, or residential settings.
Surface Restoration: Patch drywall, sand, and refinish wood or composite surfaces to restore professional appearance.
Exterior Carpentry: Repair or install fences, gates, decks, and exterior trim; perform weatherproofing or sealing as needed.
Preventive & Responsive Maintenance: Assess conditions, identify issues, and complete work orders promptly while maintaining site safety and cleanliness.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with OSPM crews across other trades — painting, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance — to ensure seamless project completion.
Safety & Tool Care: Operate hand and power tools safely, maintain equipment, and follow company and site safety protocols.
