What you will do Lead a three to four-person carpentry crew on high-quality remodels and additions. Plan the work from prints and scopes, keep the crew productive, coordinate materials and subcontractors, communicate with homeowners, and deliver clean and safe job sites. Use JobTread for time, daily logs, to-do lists, and schedule updates. Use CompanyCam for daily photo documentation. This is a bag on role. Responsibilities: • Inspect, maintain and repair structures • Fabricate rafters, partitions, stairways, and window and door frames • Quantify, shape, cut, and smooth carpentry materials • Certify drywall, roofing, and flooring are level and compatible Must haves • Proven residential carpentry and crew leadership experience. • Read and build from prints. • Skills that include framing walls and floors, roof trusses and sheathing, windows and exterior doors, balconies with flashing and deck boards, wood stair framing, casing and base, door setting, cabinet install, and door and bath hardware. • Professional client communication. • Valid driver license. Ability to lift seventy pounds and work from ladders and roofs. • Willing to complete a DISC assessment during hiring. Qualifications: • Driver’s license required • Proficient in carpentry tools, techniques, and materials • Precise measuring and math skills are required • We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED Schedule and pay • Monday 7 to 4. Tuesday through Friday, 8 to 4. • Most work within twenty-five miles of central Fort Wayne. Some travel beyond that radius with travel pay. • Pay range is thirty-five to forty-five dollars per hour based on experience and performance. • Benefits include 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, and paid time off.
