Adamant Building & Carpentry Inc. is seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented carpenter/handyman to join our growing team. This role involves working on a variety of residential projects, including renovations, home repairs, and custom deck builds, as well as a wide range of finish work. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, can work independently or as part of a crew, and is comfortable handling both interior and exterior tasks. Responsibilities: • Assist with drywall patching and painting • Replace damaged deck boards, handrails, posts, and stairs • Repair fences, gates, and posts • Install baseboards, crown molding, and shoe molding • Help install interior and exterior doors • Assist with repairing window and door frame rot • Maintain clean and organized job sites • Follow directions and support the lead carpenter as needed • Safely use hand and power tools • Ability to work outdoors when needed Qualifications: • Valid driver's license preferred • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders • Reliable transportation to and from job sites • A high school diploma or GED is preferred • Deep knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and technique • Excellent physical condition and dexterity Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
