We are looking to hire a Carpenter Helper/Laborer to perform projects and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: • Assist skilled carpenters in daily tasks, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. • Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all team members. • Handle tools and materials with care, contributing to the quality and precision of our construction projects. • Support the team in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials as directed. • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity and understanding of project goals. • Follow safety protocols diligently, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your colleagues. • Help in the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, and moldings, under the supervision of experienced carpenters. • Facilitate material deliveries and job site clean-up. • Perform weekly vehicle maintenance inspections. Qualifications: • Experience in basic residential carpentry, including framing, window and door installation, and interior trim work. • Ability to read a tape measure and specifications accurately. • Proven track record of maintaining a clean and organized job site. • Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment, with a willingness to learn new tools as needed. • Ability to measure and cut wood precisely, following instructions from the Lead Carpenter or Carpenter. • Strong organizational skills to facilitate material pick-up and minimize project delays. • Commitment to following safety and incident reporting procedures in line with Federal and State regulations. Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
