We are seeking a dependable Carpenter Helper to support our lead carpenters in delivering high-quality residential projects. This role supports daily job site operations by assisting with tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and handling tools and materials with care. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality craftsmanship and efficiency. A valid North Carolina driver’s license is required. Responsibilities: • Assist lead carpenters with daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule and operate efficiently. • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites to support team productivity and quality standards. • Handle tools and materials with care to uphold a high level of craftsmanship. • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications provided by senior carpenters. • Collaborate with team members to solve on-site challenges and foster a positive, team-oriented environment. • Transport, organize, and stage tools and materials for easy access and workflow efficiency. • Follow all safety protocols to promote a secure and hazard-free work environment. Qualifications: • Must hold a valid North Carolina driver’s license. • Proven experience supporting skilled carpenters on construction sites with a focus on efficiency and productivity. • Ability to maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites while prioritizing team safety at all times. • Demonstrated responsibility in handling tools and materials to support high-quality craftsmanship. • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and understand project goals. • Experience assisting with the installation of structures and fixtures under supervision. • Ability to coordinate material deliveries and complete job site cleanup in a timely and efficient manner. Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
