Job Summary

We are seeking a Carpenter for a short term job in July. Finish carpenter preferred. The job will be in Freehold, NJ for build and Riverdale, NJ for install. Hourly rate negotiable. We would like to see examples of your previous work. Please give contacts for references.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and regulations

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed

Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters

Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Carpenter

Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements

Ability to read and take action on blueprints

Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools

Knowledge of building regulations and codes

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
