JOB TITLE: Discovery Clerk
Non-Exempt Full-time
REPORTS TO: Trial Attorney
JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Will aid in propounding and responding to plaintiff personal injury discovery. This position requires self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision with the ability to meet deadlines under times constraints. Knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure is helpful.
JOB DUTIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have any direct reports.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM based on an eight hour day. Position may require extra work hours (overtime) and schedules may be modified according to our operational needs.
TRAVEL: This position requires some travel to meet with clients to respond to discovery and attend site inspections.
