Responsibilities: • Leading a small carpentry crew on residential outdoor living projects. • Building custom decks, pergolas, covered patios, outdoor kitchens, and other outdoor structures. • Reading and working from construction plans and project layouts. • Ensuring projects are built safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. • Training and supporting crew members on proper carpentry techniques. • Keeping the jobsite clean, organized, and professional. • Communicating with the project manager to keep projects running smoothly. Qualifications: • 4+ years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential construction (decks, patios, outdoor structures, framing, or similar). • 2+ years of experience leading or supervising a residential construction crew. • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, including framing, decking, trim work, and structural connections. • Ability to lay out projects accurately and ensure work meets design specifications. • Familiarity with building codes and jobsite safety practices. • Strong communication skills with crew members, project managers, and clients when needed. • Ability to maintain productivity and quality standards on the jobsite. • Skilled at delegating tasks and managing workflow. • Ability to lift 50lbs or more. Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
