    Position Summary

    Apap Painting & Renovations is seeking a results-driven Carpentry Production Manager to lead and oversee our Carpentry Division. This role manages approximately 10 carpenters and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to our high standards of craftsmanship.

    This is a leadership role requiring strong carpentry expertise, production management experience, and advanced comfort with technology. We are a fully paperless company and utilize technology at every stage of our operations. Proficiency with our digital systems is required for success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    Division Leadership

    Lead, supervise, and develop a team of approximately 10 carpenters

    Set daily and weekly production goals aligned with project schedules

    Hold team members accountable to safety, quality, and productivity standards

    Promote company values: Safety, Accountability, and Craftsmanship

    Production Management

    Oversee carpentry projects from kickoff to completion

    Coordinate closely with estimating and operations

    Monitor labor hours to ensure projects stay within budget

    Identify production challenges early and implement solutions

    Conduct site visits and quality control checks

    Technology & Process Management (Required)

    We are paperless. This role requires daily use of company technology systems:

    CompanyCam – Upload and organize jobsite photos with proper documentation and labeling

    Smartsheets – Manage schedules, job progress tracking, labor reporting, field documentation, and internal communication

    Google Workspace (Gmail & Google Calendar) – Maintain professional communication and manage scheduling

    Additional Expectations:

    Real-time digital updates on project status

    Accurate electronic time tracking and reporting

    Upload change orders, job notes, and field documentation daily

    Train and enforce proper technology use among carpentry crews

    Ensure 100% compliance with company paperless workflows

    Qualifications

    5+ years of hands-on carpentry experience (kitchens, bathrooms, interior renovations required)

    Experience with exterior repairs strongly preferred

    2+ years of leadership or production management experience

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Strong organizational and accountability mindset

    Technology Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

    Demonstrated proficiency using project management software

    Experience using CompanyCam, Smartsheets, or similar platforms preferred

    Strong written communication via email and digital systems

    Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and computers throughout the workday

    Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software
