They are seeking a dynamic Carrier Sales Director to lead, develop, and grow a team of Carrier Sales Representatives while driving revenue and operational success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 15 Carrier Sales Representatives and team-leads, ensuring success in revenue growth and operational execution.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and efficiency across the team.
    • Train and coach CSRs on carrier pricing, availability, negotiation tactics, industry knowledge, and problem-solving strategies.
    • Lead the development of new carrier lanes and networks, building strategic inroads from scratch and guiding the team through execution and scaling.
    • Monitor performance by reviewing, updating, and communicating KPI metrics, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company expectations in all documentation and database entries.
    • Assist the team in high-priority situations, such as hot loads and service failures, providing hands-on support when needed.
    • Partner with Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, corrective actions, and annual performance evaluations.
    • Provide regular reports to leadership on challenges, successes, and process improvements.
    • Ensure the team is appropriately staffed and manage scheduling to maintain full operational coverage.
    • Travel domestically and internationally as needed between assigned offices.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in a 3PL/4PL environment, with a proven track record in leading and motivating a team.
    • 3+ years of LTL experience. 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
    • Strong computer proficiency in MS Office, Teams, and industry-specific software.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a high-energy environment.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
