    South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking Ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

    · Allocates daily tasks to Reservations staff. · Reviews reservations booked daily, arrival report daily · Monitoring telephone manner and general performance of reservations staff daily. · Ensures special handling of repeat guest and very VIP guest. · Observes and ensures that proper telephone manners are maintained at all times. · Monitors and coordinates group reservations activity with the Sales Department and Revenue Manager. · Follows up tentative bookings and update reservation status. · Reviews n-shoe and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to hotel’s policy. · Reviews room blocking, Suites and special group requests. · Supervising of Group Reservations. · Bring to the attention of Front Office Manager when the hotel availability status has changed and prepare for necessary action · Liaise with Sales Department in regards to occupancy, rates, reservations analysis. · Cultivates strong working relationships and communications with hotel staff, executive staff, and other departments to ensure maximum operating effectiveness and fulfillment of special event needs. · Upholds and enforces the property’s mission and standards. · Works weekends and holiday shifts as Manager on Duty, as assigned. · Attends and/or directs mandatory departmental meetings. Conveys pertinent information to staff · Ensures effective, timely and accurate communications flow with regard to policies and procedures, achievement of hotel goals, etc. · Ensures Reservations department staff is provided uniforms and name tags and upholds property grooming standards. · Ensure Reservations department staff compliance with all safety and health requirements of the hotel, state and federal regulations. Initiates safety training. · Ensures proper use and care of all property equipment and supplies. · Carries out all reasonable requests of management not listed above. · Takes PRIDE in everything we do. · Takes OWNERSHIP of their actions and decisions. · Displays LEADERSHIP in our industry and our community. · Acts with INTEGRITY by being honest, trustworthy and doing the right thing. · Displays TEAMWORK by committing to common goals based on open and honest communication. · Delivers EXCELLENCE to our guests, our communities and to each other.
