Provides direct/indirect patient treatment. Participates in department continuing education and provides student training. Plans an Occupational Therapy (OT) program to meet specific goals for restoration of function. Assesses maximum abilities for adjustment to limitations in case of strength, coordination, range of motion, levels of independence in activities of daily living, emotional stability, and behavioral changes. Responds to the unique needs of adult and geriatric patients as the need arises.
Required Skills Required Experience
Must be currently licensed by the State of Alabama Board of Occupational Therapy as an Occupational Therapist. A minimum of BLS is required. BLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire. BLS must be renewed per BLS guidelines and up to date.
