    Junior Consultant- Case Team Leader

We are in search of MBA graduates (or those in process) with consulting and/or healthcare industry experience to join the team of a Healthcare Consulting firm based in Boston. This is a career track role that will rapidly advance into leadership positions. Ideal for professionals looking to combine their business interests with a passion for healthcare.

Our client wants to help qualified MBAs become well-rounded healthcare consultants — the future leaders in business. To achieve that goal, they invest heavily in the career development of their professionals. Each case team leader has a vice president or partner as their formal mentor who provides a tailored skill plan and ensures that there is a clear path to promotion.

Their goal is to ensure that every new case team leader has the skills and desire to grow within the firm and become a member of the Management Team. With projects spanning an average of 4-6 weeks, consultants gain exposure to a variety of project work across many healthcare sectors in a relatively short period of time. The project mix helps develop the well-rounded skills necessary to effectively manage teams, including problem-solving, case-cracking, synthesis, project management, preparing slide decks and communication skills. Furthermore, the consultant is typically interacting directly with clients in the C-suite or EVP level.

They encourage the case team leaders to take an active role in firm leadership through internal committees (examples: business development, market research, and business analytics). When case team leaders join business development committees, they gain exposure to senior management and further their knowledge of the firms current and prospective client base. With guidance from mentors, team leaders can choose to focus on certain sectors or become more of a generalist.

Travel requirements are typically modest (10-15%).

All interviews are case-oriented and provide the opportunity to work through actual examples of our projects.
