Our client, a strategy consulting and seed stage investment firm focused on the biotech, pharma, and healthcare technology industries, is hiring a new role for PRINCIPAL- JUNIOR PARTNER.
They are looking to expand leadership and are seeking a talented, committed, and growth focused individual to join the team at the Principal level. This person will be responsible for identifying and developing new client opportunities, day-to-day oversight of specific client engagements to ensure successful strategic execution, and client relationship management.
Our client is a young company, as such it will be necessary, in the immediate term, for the Principal / Jr. Partner to be utility player, adopting roles across the engagement spectrum from prospecting and proposal development to multiple case oversight and client relationship management. This position offers qualified candidates the opportunity to take part in the construction of a differentiated company at the ground floor.
Position Responsibilities
- Contribute actively to new business development sales efforts, proposal development, and project scoping
- Build core client accounts and independently drive sales opportunities and revenue origination
- Act as the strategic project lead on consulting engagements
- Serve as primary point of contact for ongoing client and/or portfolio company activities
- Utilize industry knowledge to provide thought leadership in functional or therapeutic areas
- Remain up to date on any changes or trends within target consulting and investing markets
Position Requirements
- Work Experience: Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in healthcare strategy consulting or other relevant areas within the life sciences or healthcare industry
- Education: Bachelor’s in quantitative, health sciences, or related disciplines. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Entrepreneurial spirit, this is a lean team, as such adaptability and tenacity are crucial
