We are looking for an attorney who is newer to the practice of estate planning, and who is looking for mentorship and growth opportunities in a truly enjoyable work environment. We put the client experience and relationship with our firm first, above all else, and we’re looking for an attorney who enjoys: • Working directly with clients • Managing legal workflows • Working as part of a team • Legal technology and innovation • Pushing against the status quo • Always doing the right thing for clients • Accomplishing clear performance expectations • Open and transparent feedback and communication, and being rewarded for exceeding expectations Responsibilities: • Providing a truly enjoyable estate planning experience for our clients and their families • Navigating potential new clients through estate planning options that will be in their best interests • Being a guide and advisor, using a true fiduciary, honest planning approach to estate planning • Contributing to the success of the team even if it means going outside of your job description • Keeping unneeded drama out of the office and contributing to our solid team culture Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience working in firms that practice estate planning and probate as the primary or only practice area(s), meeting with clients and involvement in consultation meetings, experience drafting and reviewing estate plans, and conducting signing meetings. The ideal candidate will be driven to exceed expectations and contribute to the growth of the firm in a meaningful way and will have the following qualifications • Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina • At least 1 year of experience working with estate planning matters at a law firm that focuses on estate planning and probate • High emotional intelligence • Business and tech-savvy, or a quick learner • Experience with, and comfort with, one-on-one consultation meetings with clients on your own Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly
