Ecology Education Program Leader
JOB PURPOSE:
Bring Cary Institute science to K-12 students and educators and help advance the field of ecology education.
LOCATION:
Cary Institute of Ecosystems Study, Millbrook, NY
START DATE AND DURATION:
This is a full time, long-term position in the Cary Institute Education Program. Start date 1 April 2020, with an earlier start (on or after 6 January 2020) preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, promote and lead innovative programs for K-12 students at Cary Institute and at schools, helping foster ecological and data literacy, and the application of ecology to real ecosystems and environmental issues.
SUPERVISES:
Program Assistants and Specialists, Project Assistants, Camp Instructors, Interns
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
PREFERRED
This is a full-time, exempt, fully benefited position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Finalist candidates will be subject to background checks.

Dr. Alan R. Berkowitz, Head of Education
