We are seeking the services of a MANAGER, WIRELESS SYSTEMS ENGINEERING to join our growing international team. This position is a remote role based in the EMEA REGION with extensive travel throughout the designated region to carry out the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
The Manager, Wireless Systems Engineering will impact the organization by interfacing and working closely with our prospects, customers, partners, and sales within the EMEA region to drive the achievement of sales objectives from existing customers and prospect accounts across the region. Customer satisfaction as well as revenue generation, protection and growth are key goals for the role. This is a highly visible, customer interfacing position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the EMEA Sales team to assist in the achievement of sales objectives and customer satisfaction (pre & post sales) from existing customers and prospect accounts across the region.
- Work directly with sales as a product and technology expert to align Casa solution to meet key customers specific requirements.
- Work remotely to build and manage a technical team to advance the company’s status as a leading provider of software-centric solutions.
- Technical ownership of the assigned end user account(s) and partners including solution positioning, proposals, presentations, installation and maintenance & troubleshooting of company products.
- Support EMEA Sales on strategic technical activities within the region.
- Manage the qualifying evaluation process of our products and solutions at end user locations from beginning to end, and support partners in doing the same for their customers and prospects.
- Responsible for managing installation of product at customer sites, training, and continued customer support with the assistance of the corporate HQ support team.
- Provide timely and effective feedback to management and other members of the account team regarding account status, product issues, and possible improvements in company products and approach.
- Provide support in answering RFIs and RFPs.
- Lead and oversee the technical communication to and from our Engineering and Product Management colleagues in the US Headquarters.
- Support and advance the company’s quality efforts and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in System Engineering support roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Successful track record in technical pre-sales in the EMEA wireless telecommunications industry - a direct pre-sales and in-depth technology related experience in the Core/RAN is a must
- Good understanding of operator core/radio and IT networks including IT/OSS integration requirements for commercial rollout of 4G/5G solutions.
- Demonstrates a good overall understanding of the mobile telecommunications industry, its products, services, and technologies.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the details of protocols in mobile networks and associated standards and interface definitions.
- Demonstrates ability to author technical elements of RFx response.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to interface effectively with customers, senior management, and staff.
- Ability to travel, as required.
