    Corporate Sales Manager

    Cascade Management is now accepting applications for a full-time Corporate Sales Manager. Cascade Development owns and operates three hotels in the Madison area. Two on the east side, The Holiday Inn Madison at The American Center and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison, and one on the west side, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison West-Middleton. The Corporate Sales Manager would be responsible for corporate accounts at all three properties and must have the ability to travel between each side of town as needed.

    Job Description

    The Corporate Sales Manager is an important member of the Sales and Catering Team and requires an individual who is personable and outgoing. This individual will be responsible for meeting and exceeding set top-line revenue goals in the corporate sales segment. As a Corporate Sales Manager, you will be responsible for uncovering new potential business and maintaining current accounts via phone, email, and in-person communication. This role oversees coordinating and contracting year-long negotiated corporate rates and guest room blocks within the corporate segment.

    Responsibilities:

    Performs duties in all aspects of hotel sales whenever needed with a focus on the corporate market. Will work in conjunction with VP of Sales, SMERF Sales Manager, and Holiday Inn Catering Manager to reach set budgeted goals.

    Ensures that proper procedures are followed for coordinating and contracting negotiated corporate rates and groups.

    Attends networking events and meetings outside of working hours as needed.

    Complete and submit all required weekly and monthly reports.

    Communicate with hotel front desk and managers regarding accounts and group needs.

    Responds to incoming phone calls, emails, and leads in a quick and timely manner.

    Participates in weekly revenue calls.

    Qualifications:

    • Requires a minimum of 2 years of past hotel sales experience

    • High School diploma or equivalent and a post-secondary degree.

    • High energy, passion, and above-average written and oral communication skills.

    • Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.

    • Must be able to direct, motivate, train, and develop subordinates.

    • Able to take direction.

    • Able to resolve conflicts and solve problems with the property, guests, and clients.

    • Windows and PC experience required.

    • Neat, clean appearance.

    • Compatible with a wide range of people.

    • Needs to be thorough, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, flexible, and service-orientated.
