The firm is looking for a well-rounded candidate who can manage a high volume of cases, who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Responsibilities: • Must be proactive and driven to close tasks and activities • Processing incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries • Advise attorneys with cost and time-effective recommendations to accomplish the client’s goals • Able to examine legal documents to ensure all legal requirements have been met • Able to interface with staff, attorneys, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s caseload, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Knowledge in drawing up legal documents for attorney review • Support attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, medical records, and providing reminders as needed Qualifications: • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software • Must be experienced with MS Office • Experienced in handling a high caseload • Paralegal and Case Management experience • Legal research and legal document drafting experience are critical
