Schedule: Monday -Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
Payrate: $18.50/hr
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes applications, makes commitments to utility vendors, monitor files and conduct community outreach.
- Reviews applications and verification documents for accuracy and completeness and follows up with clients to verify information and collect additional documents as needed.
- Performs general clerical responsibilities to include, but not limited to filing, copying, scanning, general correspondence and preparing documents to mail.
- Maintains accurate client database, client file integrity, and security. Clearly communicates to clients, vendors, out-side agencies, etc., policies, procedures, services offered and criteria for receiving services as per the Department/Program policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with co-workers as needed and participate as a team member within the Family Impact Unit and the Department as a whole.
- Works with diverse groups.
- Supplemental Information Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to manage stress effectively and maintain composure in challenging situations is required.
- Proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills is necessary, along with computer skills in a Windows-based operating system, word processing, and data entry.
