Job Description

As a Distinguished Software Engineer working on Cash App's Platform Developer Experience team, you’ll collaborate with our stakeholders, including product engineers, to:

• Lead strategic and complex initiatives with clear impact for Cash as a whole
• Deliver high quality, impactful technical contributions to achieve broad company goals
• Identify and lead strategic, technical decisions across the company and assist organizations to adopt and implement them
• Provide insights and technical expertise across a variety of technical areas
• Guide company wide architectural direction
• Represent engineering to cross-functional peers across the company
• Level up individuals and teams
• Drives and influences the technical direction of engineering to ensure company success
• Attract and retain talented engineers and leaders through interviewing, building internal and external community and fostering a culture of inclusion and psychological safety

Qualifications

YOU HAVE:

• 15+ years of industry experience
• Boundless curiosity, autonomy, and a strong sense of accountability
• Strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer, and mentor other engineers
• Demonstrated technical initiative and leadership
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
