Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Uncover meaningful insights that will help drive great experiences for our Investing product
Design creative research that helps address the team’s needs, including screeners, field guides, and discussion guides
Help execute research, including leading sessions in the field
Help organize and understand customer data by making findings relevant and impactful through different mediums including presentations, videos, internal web content
Collaborate with different people in Design, Product Management, and Engineering to build in research at appropriate times through the product development cycle
Advocate customer needs through storytelling, including writing, visual, and verbal communication that helps other teams build empathy for our customers
Qualifications
Requirements:
At least 5 years of professional experience in applied research. This might include design research, UX research, market research, applied sciences, journalism, and others
Familiarity with executing a wide range of qualitative research methodologies such as one-on-one interviews, ethnographic field research, usability testing (lab and remote), heuristic evaluations, card sorting, surveys
Strong qualitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills that can help aid your research findings
Experience working in highly collaborative design teams, or other multidisciplinary teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
You are a self-starter with the ability to act autonomously
Nice to Have:
You are an active investor in the stock market
Degree in Human/Computer Interaction or Psychology, Behavioral Sciences or equivalent experience
Filmmaking and editing experience with tools that might include Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro
Experience working in international and multicultural settings
