Job Description

The Cash App Social team is looking for a Brand Design - Illustration Intern to help us create Cash App’s social content. You’ll work closely with designers, copywriters, and cross-functional partners to create work for our active social channels - TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Twitch. The content we create is bold and design-forward, utilizing many different visual styles and techniques. Are you an ambitious person who can draw an alien kissing a banana on top of a dollar sign? Apply! Designers within the Creative Design team are strategic, detail-oriented, multi-disciplinary, and bring a deep understanding across all visual communications. This role requires collaboration, concepting skills, and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

We welcome an inclusive mixture of early career students that have a passion and purpose for Brand Design, Animation, Illustration and/or related fields. Whether you are studying for a traditional 4-year degree, completing a creative bootcamp/program or self-taught looking to make a career transition, we want to see your portfolio!   You have:

• A learner portfolio of work that demonstrates acumen of multiple styles of design and illustration
• An understanding of design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator
• ​​​​​​​Interest in the following (previous internship or freelance experience is a plus):
  • ​​​​​​​ Working cross-functionally to launch creative deliverables
  • Understanding of performance-based marketing strategies​​​​​​Familiarity with both new and traditional brand channels and media
