    Responsibilities

    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Basic understanding of cash application systems or accounting systems functionality
    • Must be detailed-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with financial data.
    • Must be able to accurately apply payments, work within cash or accounting systems, and manager repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.
    • Working knowledge of Health Information Systems.
    • Able to assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change as implemented/approved by leadership.
    • Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal workflows and system functions.
    • Openly shares this knowledge with peers, via Peer-to-Peer training.
    • Develops documentation and project content for internal or external utilization.
    • Has excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, customer service focus, and is able to work independently or on a project team.
    • Drives client communication process to develop and enhance client understanding of the project Best Practice, project timelines, tasks, client commitment, risk/issue impacts and mitigation.
    • Independently monitors own work for accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Shares knowledge to project teams, clients and drive the process change with clients and within a team.
    • Prioritizes own tasks and assists peers with task identification and documentation.
    • Understands project deliverables and level of effort to complete. Participates in strategic planning with clients or utilizes project knowledge in the statement of work development process.
    • Drives to incorporate Lessons Learned into department practice/methodology, including process improvement.

    Requirements

    • Basic financial operations knowledge including General Ledger
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Basic understanding of cash system functionalities
    • Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
    • Ability to work well with others
    • Ability to organize work independently and consistently achieve reporting deadlines
    • Ability to interact with other individuals at all levels of management
    • Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities and follows through on outstanding issues for resolution
    • Above average attention to detail to eliminate posting errors
    • Associate’s Degree preferred. Minimum of high school diploma
    • Two years of cash application experience; preferably in a clinical trial research or healthcare-related environment
