    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a reliable, customer-oriented Cashier to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing outstanding service and maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment for all customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet customers as they enter the store and provide excellent customer service.

    Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.

    Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as required.

    Maintain accurate cash drawer, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.

    Answer customer inquiries and assist with locating products or services.

    Handle returns and exchanges in line with store policies.

    Keep checkout areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.

    Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or discounts.

    Report any discrepancies or suspicious activity to the supervisor.

    Support other store functions as needed (e.g., stocking shelves, tidying displays).

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.

    Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical aspects of the job.

    Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.

    Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
