Job Summary

We are seeking a Cashier/Food Handler/Dishwasher to join the team at our busy restaurant! In this role, you are the link between the customer ordering and receiving their Good Food. Whether it be in-house or on our delivery apps DoorDash or Uber Eats you will be essential to making sure what the customer orders is what we serve. Your main task will be to take orders within the POS system, make plates, deliver food to in-house customers, clear tables, and generally act as the liaison between the front of house and back of the house. Clean-up at the end of the night is a team effort. During down-time you will wash dishes and cookware. If you’re friendly, hard-working, and interested in getting your foot in the door in the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Take customer orders

Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff

Communicate DoorDash & Uber Eats orders to kitchen staff

Double check all orders for accuracy and bag up according to standards

Make orders

Serve in-house customers their meals and drinks in an efficient manner

Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces

Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables

Wash dishes & cookware

Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position is preferred

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds

Friendly and outgoing personality

Availability to work long shifts, evening and weekend shifts
