Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Cashiers / Shift Leads to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the Restaurant and take their orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their food experience at our Restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Greet and serve all guests

Accurate cash handling and credit card procedures

Accurate order taking, includes repeating order to customer at time of order and delivery of food.

Be able to explain the menu and suggestively sell and up sell to all customers.

Setting up or closing down the dining room, restrooms, and patio

Answering the phones using all aspects of The Great Greek script requirements and taking call in order

Helping pre-bus and cleaning the dining room during service while not on the register

Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area as outlined by city health codes

Assist with opening and closing restaurant duties and re-stocking.

Smile, be friendly, and polite

Be able to work the expo window when needed.

Supervise and coordinate team members during shifts

Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly

Open and/or close the restaurant following company procedures

Monitor food quality, presentation, and cleanliness standards

Train, coach, and support team members

Handle cash, process transactions, and balance registers

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance

Qualifications:

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Excellent customer service skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for extended periods
