As a Cashier, you’ll be one of the first people customers interact with, creating a welcoming experience while accurately processing purchases and assisting with questions. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a friendly and professional attitude.

Process cash, credit card, debit card, and digital payments accurately.

Scan merchandise and ensure pricing is correct.

Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and store credits according to company policies.

Answer customer questions and provide product or store information.

Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked checkout area.

Bag purchases carefully and efficiently.

Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor tidy as needed.

Follow all cash-handling and loss prevention procedures.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications

No experience required—paid training provided.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available.
