About the Role:

Blazin Chicken & Gyro in Jersey City, NJ is looking for an energetic and friendly Cashier to join our fast-paced restaurant team! Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately at the counter or drive-thru

Process cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently using a POS system

Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation

Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and cashier station

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Assist with restocking supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies and procedures

Requirements:

Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required

Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and making change

Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
