Job description: Growing CPA Firm located in San Diego, CA in search of an experienced Bookkeeper who is motivated and possess great interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-time bookkeeper Solid understanding of accounting principles QuickBooks ProAdvisor or expert user Work independently with minimal supervision required Ability to build good working relationships with clients Proficient in professional written correspondence Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Proficient user of all Microsoft Applications
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
Annual, monthly and quarterly write-up:
Perform all bookkeeping functions Analyze and prepare adjustments to accounting records Prepare quarterly sales tax reports
Tax return and report preparation:
Prepare individual tax returns Prepare tax returns for various types of businesses Prepare other annual reports, 571-L’s, etc.
