Casne Engineering, a premier engineering and technology integration firm with a 40 year track record working across many industries, has immediate permanent positions in real-time analytics and IIoT using Aveva and OSIsoft PI technologies. This position is hybrid in-office/work-from-home and includes company-supported home office work arrangements.

Interested candidates should possess many of the following:

• A solid understanding of the OSIsoft PI system platforms and experience designing, planning, and deploying highly available and performant system architectures
• Experience installing, configuring, validating, and tuning PI Server and interfaces
• Experience implementing PI analytics with PI Asset Framework, Performance Equations, PI Integrator for Business Analytics, and externally-hosted data services
• Experience developing high quality data visualizations in Microsoft PowerBI, Seeq, Tableau, Spotfire, and/or Esri ArcGIS
• Experience installing and tailoring OSIsoft PI system for specific use cases including condition based maintenance, process optimization, process visualization, alarming and notification, and reporting
• Experience working with PLC and DCS-based control systems, smart meters, building management systems, and/or energy management systems as data sources
• Superb analytical and troubleshooting skills and methodical approaches to solving difficult problems
• Team oriented, but self-driven
• Excellent communication skills and professional, client-facing demeanor
• Eager to demonstrate value by sharing knowledge with others

Also desirable:

• Experience designing and implementing highly reliable and large-scale systems using HA collectives and federated designs
• Experience and certifications for other AVEVA products including System Platform, Operations Control, and Predictive Analytics
• Good grasp of Windows Server OS, networking, and system security fundamentals
• Experience writing software applications and web services using SDK's and API's in a disciplined coding and testing environment
