    Job Description

    CASSMAC LLC IS LOOKING FOR A SUPPLY CHAIN MANGER FOR OUR NORTH PHOENIX AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING FACILITY.

    2688 E. ROSE GARDEN LANE, PHOENIX, AZ 85050

    $2,500 Bonus after 6 months of employment.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Lead the activities related to the purchase of material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within CassMac LLC Manager will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems. Individual will manage the Material Management Function to meet the customers’ needs in terms of delivery, inventory, cost and quality. Individual will be accountable for building up the functional excellence to support business objectives. Individual will lead project teams within the business.

    Key measures of success will include on-time delivery, inventory reduction-utilization, and material cost reduction.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         Strong leadership skills

    ·         Proven experience in ERP/MRP systems to schedule, plan and purchase raw material for the operations

    ·         Proven experience in planning and scheduling

    ·         Proven experience in production control

    ·         Inventory control

    ·         Optimize Material Management Procedures

    ·         Improve Operating System Maturity

    ·         Health, Safety and Environment Compliance

    ·         Measure Supplier Capability and Capacity

    ·         Engage in New Production Introduction (NPI) activities

    ·         Monitor Freight cost

    ·         Annual Cost and Inventory reduction

    ·         Develop Talent resource planning

    ·         Champion Sourcing process based on best value to drive reduced material cost and improved material availability and quality.

    ·         Oversee material control/logistics departments that include stores, shipping, receiving, transportation, and traffic.

    ·         Assist in developing and maintaining department policies, procedures and work instructions.

    ·         Other duties may be assigned.

    EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent

    · 5 years’ experience with purchasing of material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving

     

    A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE THAT INCLUDES:

    · Selecting, managing, and developing employees

    · All disciplines of the supply chain preferred but must include planning and procurement.

    · Must have a process improvement background with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other methodology

    · Computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP planning systems.

     

    ATTRIBUTES:

    · Possess great leadership skills with an interpersonal style that will reflect positively on the company. A bias for action and sense of urgency.

    · Good negotiation skills.

    · Must be able to think strategically and develop and implement business strategies and also have the ability to execute with tactical plans.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Track record of accomplishing assignments on time. Must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Must be able to adapt to changing situations.
