    Position OverviewResponsible for providing and coordinating services relating to legal and regulatory compliance, including the tracking of legal and regulatory developments related to the company’s business, collecting materials related to compliance and legal topics, conducting research into various legal and compliance topics, tracking publications on pertinent topics, developing relationships with providers of applicable information and coordinating with other members of the legal department in connection with the review, analysis and preparation of communications related to key regulatory compliance and legal topics. You will also be expected to create processes and cadences for monitoring and reporting on the company’s compliance efforts; working with employees in other departments in connection with their compliance needs; assisting in the development of compliance related policies, procedures and training programs, and performing other duties as assigned.  Essential FunctionsEngage in a range of activities related to the collection, monitoring and research of statutory and regulatory matters related to the company’s business in accordance with established policies and procedures Monitor and provide updates regarding federal, state and local laws, regulations, rules and practices related to the company’s business and assist in the analysis of the samePrepare or assist with the preparation of communications for internal and external clients to address regulatory developmentsAssist with the development and management of policies and procedures to ensure that each functional area of the business is staying abreast of applicable regulatory regimesEnhance the compliance program by establishing a calendar for regular reviews of key compliance areas and ongoing monitoring of compliance activitiesAssist with the management of the company’s enterprise-wide compliance programConduct or assist with audits to ensure compliance with laws and contracts is achieved and maintainedAssist functional areas with the development of compliance tracking systems and implementation of compliance programsConfer and correspond with in-house counsel and members of executive and management staff to acquire information on matters involving regulatory compliance and assist with the collection and management of related materialsAssist in the development and conducting of training sessions related to compliance programs and specific regulatory mattersResearch applicable legal and regulatory compliance matters and related topicsAssist in the development of policies and procedures related to compliance topics and the enterprise compliance programAssist with the operationalization of compliance considerations through coordination with members of the product, IT and operations teamsAssist with the company’s OFAC screening effortsOther duties as assigned. Reporting Relationships Supervisor: General CounselSubordinate(s): As assigned Skills, Abilities and Core Competencies Experience with regulatory compliance tracking, collection and analysis, ideally related to entertainment production, payroll, labor & employment and data privacyExperience in researching legal and compliance topicsFamiliarity with developing and implementing compliance cadences and tracking programsSense of urgency - excellent time management skills and prioritization skillsAbility to manage multiple, concurrent projectsA track record of establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to craft and deliver various communication types by applying appropriate techniques, media, language, etc.Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external constituenciesExcellent attention to detail and ability to deliver exceptional results Minimum Qualifications Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or an associate’s degree with appropriate experienceExperience: Minimum 4 years of increasing responsibility and experience in a corporate compliance department or law firm compliance teamOther: Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required Special Work Conditions             Schedule must be flexible in order to accommodate client and business needs.Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
