General Summary
As our Documentation Coordinator, you will be responsible for generating, revising, distributing, and updating all operational work instructions and other essential documents throughout our manufacturing plant.
Create work instructions for equipment and processes in various departments such as Casting, Secondary Operations, Tool Room, and Maintenance. Utilize risk-based thinking, as required by ISO, and collaborate with department managers and supervisors to gather the necessary support and materials for these instructions.
Generate and update PWIBS for Techmire and Frech. Collaborate with Engineering and Setup departments, following risk-based thinking as required by ISO.
Collaborate with different personnel to gather the materials needed to create work instructions, including photos and verbiage.
Create part-specific work instructions on the Job Router.
Develop and maintain the Table of Contents for all documentation, ensuring timely updates when changes occur.
Obtain document control number and revision date from the Management Representative for new or revised documents.
Identify and remove irrelevant documents, ensuring hard copies are properly disposed of and digital files are moved to the obsolete files on the server.
Provide basic non-equipment work instruction training to employees when feasible and offer support for translation needs.
Organize and store generated documents on the server, creating project-specific folders for easy access and retrieval.
Schedule and coordinate necessary meetings and trainings to support document implementation.
Assist with pickups and deliveries when needed, coordinating with outside suppliers.
Create and update signs, templates, and other forms as required.
Maintain and manage project trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Collaborate with department supervisors and managers to track training progress and maintain the training matrix.
