    Position: Cast Operator

    Reports to: Leadman

    Scope of Position:

    Set-up and operation of die-cast spinning machines. Work utilizing the required safety equipment. Keep clean and organized casting deck. Perform duties in a positive and team-like manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Set up, operate, and monitor casting machines and equipment

    Ensure proper melting and pouring of molten metal into molds

    Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

    Perform routine maintenance on casting equipment

    Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

    Record production data and maintain accurate logs

    Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

    Troubleshoot equipment issues and report major problems to supervisor

    Required Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or casting environment

    Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions

    Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities

    Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

    Attention to detail and strong focus on quality

    Willingness to work in a factory environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal materials

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with specific casting processes (e.g., centrifugal casting)

    Familiarity with quality control procedures and tools

    Knowledge of metallurgy basics

    Certification in relevant manufacturing or safety programs
