    If you are experienced in non-profit bookkeeping/accounting, and if you are looking for the perfect blend of stable work and flexible hours, this is the job for you! We are seeking someone experienced in nonprofit bookkeeping to provide a range of bookkeeping duties, including journal entries, fund accounting, revenue accounting, a/p and payroll, updating financial statements, and reconciling transactions and statements.

    We are the exclusive recruiter for our client, a company that provides outsourced accounting services to non-profit organizations. In early 2021 they will be adding a part-time bookkeeper to serve their growing client base of over sixty non-profit organizations. The bookkeeper will support one or more non-profits for their ongoing accounting needs. This a part-time, 10-20 hours/week position, with opportunity for additional hours if that is desired. Work days and times are flexible. Full benefits are available for those working >20 hours/week. The pay rate is $27.00 - $37.00 /hour, depending on your experience.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 1 year experience in non-profit accounting (mandatory)
    • Experienced with QuickBooks (preferred)
    • Skilled and adept in Excel or Google Sheets
    • Detail oriented
    • Quick learner
    • Comfortable working independently in a virtual office, and
    • Proactive in asking questions and asking for help when needed.
