    Job Description

    ALL DISPATCH / ECHART / TRAINING ASSISTANT ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS.

    1. Must be able to maintain current First Aid/CPR and pass a physical examination that will include but not be limited to a Pulmonary Function Test.

    2. Must submit to customer background screenings and must maintain a TWIC card and active background check.

    3. Must maintain an active phone and or message number with the ability to return messages within an hour.

    4. Must be over 18 years of age. Will be required to work up to 12-hour shifts consisting of the day shift. This position routinely works weekends and many holidays as per project requirements.

    5. Will be required to frequently lift and carry more than 25 lbs.

    6. Will be required to demonstrate the ability to understand and carry out written, and verbal, instructions. For safety considerations, this employee must have the ability to read, write and understand English.

    7. Must have the ability to maintain good communication with office support, contractors, and client representatives.

    8. Must have the ability to plan and carry out work assignments/orders and determine the proper personnel protective equipment required for the job.

    9. Will be required to learn, maintain, and enforce all safe work practices, safety policies, and regulations and enforce.

    10.Must have the ability to organize the workload and prioritize them according to the importance of the task.

    11.Will be required to demonstrate the skills and knowledge (with appropriate training) of preparing projects for customers with all required training.

    12.Will be required to keep the office in a tidy, safe, and effective manner consistent with Stronghold policy.

    13.Will always maintain constant communications with field supervisors and office support personnel.

    14.Will be required to participate in and comply with the Stronghold Controlled Substance and Alcohol program and maintain active membership in the required drug consortiums (to become a DER).

    15.Will be required to complete and submit all required documentation in a manner that is consistent with company and client policy.

     

    THE TYPICAL DAY ON THE JOB WOULD INCLUDE THE BELOW TASKS.

    1. Pre-planning for upcoming after a crew list has been developed.

    2. Lodging - Plan rooming list so that we are evenly distributed by personnel craft on each project.

    3. Flights -Plan arrival and departure dates and communicate with personnel on the project. Complete flight purchase requisition (spreadsheet) with flight info, time, dates for personnel arriving from other offices so that supervision can easily track arrivals/departures in one sheet to assist with airport runs, lodging, and training.

    4. Rental vehicle needs. - Set up rental vehicle requirements. Pre-plan upcoming projects and assist with logistics, drivers, lodging, missing training.

    5 Training - Verify and update our echart (training) and our (Long Beach) excel sheet

    1. Badging needs - Send customer/client-required badging forms.

    2. Drug and alcohol testing - Verify and set up personnel to comply with client required drug and alcohol consortium

    3. Maintain LACC / DISA roster - Add and remove personnel to LACC / DISA D&A roster. Schedule personnel for random testing.

    4. Echart - Verify and update training on echart and simultaneously on our Long Beach Excel Template to match.

    5. Emails - Email personnel with project information from our One Note template. Perform intermediate spot-checking of email dates and project details.

    6. CSL / Client Training / Medical / Drug Alcohol - Schedule personnel into the shop, OSCA, or online to stay current with training. - communicate training hours with the office manager to ensure personnel gets paid for training. (local training, per diem, travel hours) - Maintain and update training matrix for the region (excel sheet) combine Houston area council, OSCA, and in-house training. - Become familiar with Care Onsite Authorization form and issue in coordination w/ safety. - Become familiar with the various DISA drug & alcohol forms and issue to personnel –direction from central dispatch would be the best resource. - Assist with enrolling crews with training requirements as needed.

    7. Time management / organizational skills. - Should be occurring to ensure the proper outcome. Review emails and training to spot the deficiencies before we do.
