Title: Group Cycling Instructor

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
SPINNING or Cycling Certification
Accredited National Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, ACSM)
Maintain high engagement level.
Strong public relations and communication skills.
Must have reliable transportation.
Safety Knowledge & Training (American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED, etc.) (PREFERRED)
Expectations:
Teach Group indoor cycling classes in a professional, safe manner to members and guests.
Responsible for the assigned classes: be prompt and ready to begin class on time and end on time.
Arrive early enough to class to prepare the studio, meet and greet the
Increase class numbers for assigned time slot by 5% each quarter.
Market and promote the group fitness program (especially fellow instructor classes), special events and club events.
Rehearse and prepare for class.
Meet specific quarterly objectives as determined by the Group Fitness Director.
Attend team meetings (format specific and/or whole department)
Responsible for finding his/her own substitute if needed.
Attend quarterly education workshops in the instructor’s format or others to stay current on research, trends and education.
Set an example with a healthy way of life for others.
Handle complaints and comments and refer comments to proper manager.
Maintain clean environment; perform janitorial duties as required or assigned to include equipment clean-up, sanitizing area.
Perform related duties as required.
Work as part of a team.
