    Title: Fitness Coach

    Department: Personal Training

    Requirements:

    Must have strong national accredited personal training certification and/or correlating degree

    Must be willing to work flexible hours.

    Strong public relations and communication skills.

    Maintain high engagement level.

    Instruct patrons on effective workout methods; explain proper techniques, demonstrate exercises and teach appropriate methods.

    Move between all parts of the gym to speak with employees and members, as well as assess the appearance of the club.

    Safety Knowledge & Training (American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED, etc.)

    Expectations:

    Catalyst Fitness trainers will not train members or no-members without a contract in or out of the gym.

    Responsible for scheduling training appointments and must help the Fitness Director in attaining monthly goals.

    Call inactive clients and members. Review specials and new programs.

    Must attend all staff meetings and trainings.

    Uniforms must be worn with name tag. Attire must be neat, fitness appropriate and clean. Hats and other similar accessories are prohibited.

    Fitness coaches must act professionally at all times.

    Floor hours must be scheduled and approved by the Fitness Director.

    Promote safe and effective workouts along with healthy eating.

    Before and after shift, Fitness Coaches will be responsible for keeping the functional floor and any other space used clean and orderly.

    Fitness Coaches are responsible for completing their schedules on a daily basis and submitting member signature sheets to the Fitness Director every Monday.
