A large chemical operation needs a senior process control/automation engineer;

This is a multi-disciplinary and key role working across a complex, site

Key Points/MUST have :

• Experience with integrated PLC systems
• Experience with process controls, automation, in a plant setting, not design engineering
• Engineering degree - electrical, chem, or relevant other technical degree

More Info

• Work with, through and between ops, site engineering, EHS, etc, on all things process control
• Work with and upgrade/integrate site-wide PLC systems
• Work within a PSM environment and framework
• All types of "usual" process automation in an operation with large compressors, reaction areas, misc rotating equipment large and small
• Make training programs for ops; conduct training
• Ideally able to manage upgrading major process areas as part of a large ongoing set of projects, managing internal work and subcontractors
• Heavily oriented toward in-operation work, not design.
• Depending on experience, there may be additional opportunities

Required/preferred

• Degree in engineering
• Experience in as much of the above as possible
• Must know PLC systems well; Rockwell/Allen Bradley is great, but others ok, too.
• Most experience in a plant or multi-plant/site setting
• Must be good with people! This is a position working across groups; a key strategic role
• Able to work in an active plant setting with potentially hazardous areas

Salary is at or over $135,000 (can be a fair bit over depending on experience)
