Process Engineer –

Near Columbus, OH (south)

Customer is a global chemical company with a key strategic operation near Columbus, OH. The position is for a junior process/chemical engineer to work throughout the operation both as a contributor and as part of their development program.

Position:

• Work in the multi-area operation, moving through:
  • Engineering
  • Ops/production
  • Maintenance/reliability
  • Projects
• Reporting to site engineering manager
• Extensive work with continuous improvement methods in all areas
• Work in a PSM environment.
• Classic process engineering:
  • Troubleshoot processes both alone and as part of the team.
  • Process development and validation.
• Most of the work is in-plant; must be at home in such an environment.
• This is a development position – so the person must be interested in increasing responsibility (and, well, compensation!).

  Required/preferred

• At least a BS in chemical engineering or similar.
• Must have some experience with chemical manufacturing
• 2+ years of experience
• Must be able to both currently work in the U.S. and not need a visa of any kind to continue to do so.

Salary based on experience - but approx. $85,0000 +/-, bonus, relocation available.
